"Not enough restaurants or places to buy food and water. It was so hot and the only store with bottled water closed every day for 3+ hours. Please add some vending machines or some stands so people don’t pass out. "

"Waterbus transport was awful to the point we almost missed our flights home, I paid €70 for two people for two days and transport didn’t even show up or wouldn’t accept people on board. Negotiating how to get around with signs makes no sense as what you see online doesn’t match the port bays and it is difficult to get help when you need it. Others were having the same experience as us so it was not just us. Loads of dog poo on the streets. "

"Varenna is beyond beautiful, relaxing, great food, and the views are stunning. If planned well it’s a wonderful place to stay. The ferry times and which line to stand in were a little confusing at times but, all it took was asking to make sure you were in the right spot. I highly recommend visiting and I would love to visit again myself. "

"Everything a bit crowded at times but naturally extremely beautiful. Very difficult to get something to eat or to get a taxi without a previous reservation. Otherwise everything was wonderfull!"
